We are pet lovers and problem-solvers. The inspiration for our flagship product, Poop Alert Detect, came from some frustrating experiences: losing dog poop among leaves or in the dark. Dogs instinctively leave the pack to poop, so when our dog poop away from us, we get there when he's already off playing. We're in the general area, but sometimes we search for quite a while. Other times it simply vanishes among the leaves. This common problem sparked an idea in our founder, who is a physicist and inventor specializing in remote sensing.

He developed Detect for locating poop by its heat signature. The first prototype worked, and the production model detects at twice the range: now up to 15 feet or more. He later invented Poop Alert Wearable for dog collars, which senses the "poop dance" that dogs perform before doing their business. It then notifies the owner with GPS directions to the spot. 

Wearable solves the oft-occurring problem of distracted pooping. While we socialize, a friend may have to call attention to our dog pooping. Sometimes no one notices and a land mine is laid...in wait for the unthinkable. Wearable solves this by sending an alert to your phone, which directs you to the spot, recorded by its onboard GPS module. Detect and Wearable are standalone devices—you don’t need both. Together, however, they provide added peace of mind and enhance the shared experience of pets, people, and their communities, while significantly reducing the risk of “stepping in it” for everyone.
